Kojima has little to no involvement. The director of the game even said that the Story isn't his focus (and story is what makes MGS so awesome). The game stars one of the least like characters, it's not stealth, and the fact that it's multiplat means it will likely not be as good as Ps3 exclusives.
All in all, I'd say there's a pretty big chance that it'll disappoint.
I just love how PS3 devs keep making their games more and more cinematic. I'm glad to see they're taking cues from the Uncharted series. I'm certain KZ3 will be one of the best FPS EVER!! Anyways, gonna go watch the trailer a few dozen more times.
I can't wait to play the so called "Best 360 exclusive" on my Ps3. It's funny looking back at all those fanboys saying "it's never gonna happen!!" but hey, unlike MGS4 which will never be on 360, ME2 is here.
Does MS only count Gold accounts or do they count both Free and Gold accounts?
EDIT: Alright, thanks for the quick response. The thing that I really hate though is that there's still ads everywhere! If there's this many people paying for their accounts, then why the hell is MS still forcing to watch ads?? That makes no sense.
Why would anyone say these are fake? MS cannot lie to their stockholders so it is obviously true information. People say numbers are fake when they come from sites like VGchartz (which has been discredited by MS themselves). Think for once man, it's good for you.
IGN is so biased it's not even funny anymore. So what, when only Kinect games are coming out for the 360 they'll say "Who cares about gamepads Anymore?"
Guess that means there really won't be any core games for the 360 next year. Sure, this is extraordinarily good for MS, but not for us gamers. It's a good casual device but seriously guys, do you really want to play casual games on a console bought mainly for core games? Come on, think for a moment!!
Instead of celebrating the fact that Kinect outdid the Move (which still sold above Sony's expectations), how about you look at the big pictur...
Whether you accept it or not, the fact is Japan does indeed matter. Tell me, why do you think MS has spent millions trying to break into the Japanese market if "it doesn't matter"
I agree, Japan is not the world just like NA =/= world.
Unless it's PS3 exclusive, it will NOT be Demon's Souls 2. Sony owns the IP so DS will never be on the 360. And good thing to since it practically insures that DS will always be a quality game.
So far I've spent around 50 bucks on these steam deals and I have around 50 more ready. I just got Darksiders and Super Meat Boy!! Awesome deals, just like always.
I certainly do buy all or at least most of the Ps3 exclusives released. I like supporting devs that put effort and care into their product and I love love playing their games. Besides, even if you prefer multiplats, what would you rather have:
2 exclusives + all the multiplats
or
10+ exclusives AND all the multiplats?
Me? I'd go with option B. PS3 will certainly be the best console to own in 2011.
I had the opportunity to play something I criticize first hand for a rather cheap price (the guy really wanted to get rid of it, haha). It's not like I'm playing all the time, as I said I just tried some demos and that's pretty much it. I won't buy any games probably till next year when some of the so-called "core" games come out just to try. And as I stated in the blog, these are just preliminary impressions from playing a few demos, they are not in depth reviews. ...
I'll be enjoying the countless exclusives released on the PS3 as well as Zelda on the Wii and the release of the 3DS.
My xbox will gather dust for a few months until Gears 3 comes out and maybe (a very big maybe) Forza 4. I hope it still works by then. Furthermore, I was able to get Kinect for 50 bucks from a friend (I know, I feel kinda bad about it) so if any of the Kinect games are miraculously good, I might look into that.
